Terms & Conditions

**1. Introduction**

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our wellness retreat in Phoenix, Arizona, from October 11th to 14th, 2024. By booking and attending the retreat, you agree to abide by these terms.

 

**2. Booking and Payment**

2.1 **Deposit**: A non-refundable deposit of $250  is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Deposit is $250 for one person and $500 for two people booking one room. Additional $250 deposit can be paid via Zelle to The Urban Aura by using the email "zadie@theurbanaura.com". Once deposit is received, we will reach out with further steps to create a payment plan. Rooms will remain available for booking until deposit is received. Please include in the Zelle notes which room you are interested in reserving.

2.2 ** Payment Arrangement**: A payment can be made based on the date of deposit. Once agreed upon, the terms must be upheld. Failure to make a payment by the agreed upon dates may result in the forfeiture of your spot. A 10-day grace period may be granted.

2.3 **Full Payment**: The remaining balance must be paid in full by September 1, 2024. Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in the forfeiture of your spot and deposit.

 

**3. Cancellation and Transfer Policy**

3.1 **Non-Refundable**: All payments made are non-refundable.

3.2 **Transfer**: Bookings may be transferred to another individual up to two weeks prior to the retreat start date with prior approval from the retreat organizers. Please contact us at contact@theurbanaura.com to facilitate a transfer.

 

**4. Health and Safety**

4.1 **Medical Conditions**: Participants are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

4.2 **Health Insurance**: We recommend that participants have adequate health insurance coverage during the retreat.

4.3 **COVID-19**: Participants must adhere to any COVID-19 guidelines or protocols in place at the time of the retreat.

 

**5. Participation**

5.1 **Behavior**: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards others and the environment. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful.

5.2 **Activities**: Participation in all activities, including hiking, yoga, and workshops, is voluntary and at your own risk. The organizers are not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur.

 

**6. Changes and Cancellations by Organizers**

6.1 **Changes**: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule, instructors, and activities if necessary.

6.2 **Cancellation**: In the unlikely event that the retreat must be canceled by the organizers, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future retreat.

 

**7. Liability**

7.1 **Responsibility**: The organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the retreat.

7.2 **Travel Insurance**: Participants are encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes or emergencies.

 

**8. Media Release**

By attending the retreat, you consent to being photographed and filmed, with the understanding that these images may be used for promotional purposes by the organizers.

 

**9. Privacy**

Your personal information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of organizing and communicating about the retreat.

 

**10. Governing Law**

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Arizona. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Arizona.
